Mandate From Bung Karno, on Engineering Education Launching Perguruan Tinggi Teknik Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya,  On this day, the Heroes Day 1957, I was asked to give opening blessing Perguruan Tinggi Teknik Sepuluh Nopember, Of course, the blessing will i give with joy. Based on prayer to God, so that the University, This Perguruan Tinggi Teknik Sepuluh Nopember flourished, thereby becoming a very big contribution to uphold an maintain the Unitary State of Indonesia which, as we aspire and proclaimed on August 17, 1945, and its contents, a fair and prosperous society


The Short History of ITS

East Java Branch of PPI (Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia / Indonesian Engineers Association) held the first Lustrum, raised the idea to establish Technical College Foundation. As a result, dr Angka Nitisastro, as general doctor, in conjunction with East Java Branch PPI engineers dedicated to implement the establishment of The Technical College Foundation.

On August 17, 1957, YPTT (Yayasan Perguruan Tinggi Teknik / Technical College Foundation ) was officially established, chaired by dr Angka Nitisatro. The foundation was established as a forum to consider further actions and deeply discus the consequences associated with decision making within the framework determinted to establish a Technical College in Surabaya
